Today NILA submitted a letter to the Chairman and Ranking Member of the US Senate Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs Committee, supporting the nomination of Kathleen Kraninger for the position of Director of the Bureau of Consumer Financial Protection (BCFP, also known as CFPB) on the grounds Ms. Kraninger has all of the attributes required to “steer a path for the Bureau that is grounded in the principles of fairness, openness and transparency”.
