AFSAEF Releases New MoneySKILL Courses on AFSA University

Coinciding with Financial Capability Month, the AFSA Education Foundation has released three new MoneySKILL® personal finance courses on the AFSA University training and education platform. The platform provides important compliance training for AFSA companies, who  will now be able to offer their employees financial capability training via the same means. The new courses focus on the following areas:

  • Money Management and Budgeting Fundamentals
  • Understanding Credit
  • Vehicle Financing

These courses were created to meet AFSA members’ growing interest in personal-finance content designed specifically for their employees. Personal-finance expert and Distinguished Professor Emeritus at Rutgers University, Dr. Barbara O’Neill, led the development of the content by modifying existing material from MoneySKILL®, the foundation’s flagship financial education program.

The AFSA Education Foundation’s mission is to educate consumers of all ages on personal finance concepts and help them realize the benefits of responsible money management. For the past 30 years, the foundation has been dedicated to providing free personal finance education, resources, and training to educators and their students.

Many NILA members provide support for AFSAEF and MoneySKILL®, and participate in AFSA University.
